I’ve created jump links on my site: homegaragestorage.com using the ID field for the relevant sections. This which work great on my desktop.

However, I have hidden some of these sections for mobile and therefore the links don’t work when accessing the site via mobile device.

Is there a solution to this problem? I tried adding the same ID to the mobile sections I created, but that didn’t work.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Sorry I wasn’t more clear. I’ve created a 1 page site, and used jump links for the header menu to direct to the applicable sections on the page. This works perfectly when on a desktop.

However, when I access the site via my mobile phone, 3 of the menu links don’t work. I suspect that this is because I hid some of the sections based on screen size. I recreated these sections for mobile. How can I get the header menu links to work for these sections?

    Hope that helps clarify.

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. That’s pretty expected. Your relevant sections are hidden on mobile so the menu item won’t bring you to anywhere. For example the section with the ID “storage” is hidden on mobile so the menu with the link “#storage” can’t lead you to anywhere sine the associated section for the ID is hidden. So it’s not going to work if you hide the sections. You should keep the sections as is and hide the ROW inside this.

    Hope this makes sense.
