chagemeierParticipantI opened up a ticket with one of my plugin providers (Business Directory) and they resolved my issue but said my site was kicking out an error “jquery.backstretch is not a function”. They said it was keeping their map module from working and said it was possibly a theme or some other plugin related. I saw that in the past people were having this issue so I decided to open up a ticket. I have already bounced it off the Facebook group but no resolution yet. I am pretty sure the general consensus is that it is utilized for a site background image? Any help would be appreciated.

Paul RModeratorHi Curt,
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

JadeModeratorHi Curt,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If this doesn’t work, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the credentials.
Please go to Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global Javascript and then remove the word false. That will cause syntax error. Then we also need to reset your background image. Please go to Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design > Background Image: Add any image and then save. Then remove the image again and save. This will reset the backstretch functionality.Hope this helps.
