bennstoreyParticipantHello there, loving the theme!.
I just set up Jetpack subscriber notification emails which emails subscribers when there is a new blog post, the email contains a copy of the post. I signed up a test email address, but the images are stripped out and replaced with code. I’ve done a bit of searching but cannot find that anyone else is having this issue.
I’ve temporarily removed the subscription box from the site so nobody can sign up.
Any help gratefully received!

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Where are the images being stripped from? Is it from the site or within the email. Please note that Jetpack is a 3rd Party plugin, we don’t have control over how it works. On first look, if you are referring to images being stripped within email, this would usually be an email setting. Where the user can choose to show images or not.
However, upon viewing your screenshot it seems like Jetpack isn’t sending the outputted HTML result, instead it is sending the code before short-codes are rendered as regular HTML. Thus you see that bit of code.
We can’t alter how the subscriber notification handles things but you could try a post without using shotcodes for the image part. Just use regular HTML and see if the issue remains. If it doesn’t then Jetpack subscriber notification is causing this issue. If it does remain, or if we misunderstood your situation, then we need to check further.
In that case, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
