How could we optimize the home page so that the loading time is really improved?
We have a big issue with Chrome where the page load time is 14s!
People are complaining, sometimes images are not loading on the home page.

Hey There,

Did you scan your website directory? Most of the times a Malware / virus attack can slow down the websites. Also please upgrade the X theme to the latest version and update all of your plugins immediately.

Hi there,

I can see the issue is mostly related with your images. You can optimize them a bit more to decrease the load time. Also some script from plugins taking a bit more time but it’s normal if you need them.

I have also tested with Pingdom and result is pretty same – https://tools.pingdom.com/?testurl=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.st.com%2F#!/dePTKD/blog.st.com

Let’s review the issue as some of them related with your caching settings as you might using a caching plugin.
