Dear Support

I seem to have come a bit further since my last issue, but i am currently experiencing a problem with UberMenu, and i was wondering if it would be possible to give me any advice on the best way to proceed.
My website is currently only hosted locally, as there is a live version already active for a business, and i am working on the “version 2” so to speak offline, as such i cannot direct you to a URL, but i am hoping you can give me any advice on the problem even without seeing the backend.

Basically, i am using the X theme with the stack “Icon”, and the front page is a Blank container| Header, No footer. I started out with the top navbar being made just in the customizer, however i discovered i need a bit more functionality, and have decided to try switch over to UberMenu. The issue i am currently having is that the UberMenu only covers the middle section of the top navbar, and does not cover the entire width (See attached image). I am not sure if there is a faster/easier way of fixing this, but i attempted to diagnose the problem with an UberMenu tutorial (http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/diagnostics/residual-styling-detection-tool).

Basically, it found that the ubermenu was being contained in something resembling this “<div class=”x-container max width”>” and that is what was stopping it from moving to the entire width of the screen. In order to change this i need to edit whatever file contains that, and the diagnosing tool seems to have found a lot. However the one that makes the most sense to me is the “_header.php” file in views/global, as that is where the Icon header.php file points to, however i have copied over most of the folders into my child theme, but in the child theme as well as the main theme folder the “_header.php” file in the views/global is blank (apart from a >), so i am not really sure where to go from here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Scratch that, i seem to have figured out how to fix the problem i was having, although as soon as i had done it I realized that Ubermenu doesn’t have a few of the key features i needed that were already in the existing header i had created, so i just turned everything back to scratch. This has, however, presented me with a new issue. I want the entire front page to only be one page long (so basically it is impossible to ever scroll down on the home page, regardless of screen resolution). I had it set out perfectly before i tried this UberMenu endeavour, however upon returning back to the old settings it seems to have about a (give or take) 10px leeway which is causing a scroll bar to appear.

Currently i only have the header and a Slider Revolution on the home page.
The custom CSS i am using on the page is this

The page looks exactly the same as in the previous attachment, with the exception that there is now the standard Header with a background image attached, a logo, and a few links to different pages.

Is there a definitive way to set up the page so that regardless of what resolution people on desktops are viewing it in, it always remains one page with no scroll option?
(I do not mind if it needs to scroll on phones or tablets)

Hey there,

Thank you for the fast response, i will try and pursue it further through the link you gave me.
I do have 3 different questions, im not sure if its best to post here or in a new thread though.

Firstly, is it possible to redirect different users who login in based on their credentials to different pages within the site?

Secondly, one of my pages involves a project menu, that i would ideally like to have some sort of filter process, the very first page loads all the images, but when the filters are applied is there anyway that the site could already use the pre-loaded assets from the first page they loaded so the wait times arent as long when the filters are applied?

Lastly, are sub-menu’s available in the X theme without the use of UberMenu? I’ve found that some of the settings in X’s default menus cater much better to my needs than Ubermenu, however i have yet to encounter how to create a submenu similar to the Uber one.
