    Hey there,
I experienced some strange behavior of my grid galleries recently.
Sometimes, the grids do not look like they should do. This seems to happen for some reasons that I don’t figure out…
Have you ever experienced similar problems ?
You’ll find 2 examples of a gallery that should be a classic masonry with 30px paddings everywhere…
Many thanks by advance for your help…
The actual gallery can be seen at this address : http://sillyetbilly.com

    Hello There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look at your settings? I can see that the setup is masonry but then there’s a minimum 600px height that’s creating some space between rows. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi There,

Upon checking , Force Item Sizes is set to ON. You can find it on GRID SETTINGS > GRID TAB > Force Item Sizes. This is the reason why even if it’s masonry, there are lot of spacing in between. See attached screenshot.

    Hope this helps.

If I enable it, it doesn’t seem to make a difference…

    Hi there,

Would it be okay if we will disable the caching and CDN feature? There is error related to cross domain due to CDN, and please don’t upload images with special characters on its file name (eg. http://www.sillyetbilly.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Capture-d?%C3%A9cran-2016-05-11-%C3%A0-11.31.49.png )

I can do that, but it may break your site and please have a backup. If you wish, you can clone your site to staging where we can investigate it.

I can see that not all resources are loaded, eg. style and fonts. Could be related to CDN.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

What should I do then ?
You can of course try to disable caching + CDN but please do not try anything that could harm the website.
We do have a backup generated automatically with Vaultpress. Is that fine enough ?
If it happen to be a CDN issue, what would be our alternative to keep on having a site that loads quickly ?

Thank you for your help !

    Hi there,

In that case, please clone your site to staging/test in a subfolder of your current site. That way, we can easily troubleshoot your site without harming your live one.

    Thanks!
