I was having issues updating the Slider Revolution for my theme. I tried entering my existing license key and I received an error. Then, I tried de-activating the plugin altogether and installing the latest version and managed to really mess up my page. Before I made any of these edits, I exported the site to an xml file.
What steps do I need to take to restore my site and update the plugin? I’m a novice at WordPress.

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Your slider is up to date. Our latest Rev. Slider version is 5.2.4.1, we will provide the update for all bundled plugins.
But, plugin’s author can also provide their own updates. Rev. Slider author now provides the version 5.2.5.2, and maybe you’re trying to update on that version. If you wish to get the direct update and support from plugin’s author, then you’ll have to buy a license from them and activate your Rev. Slider.
Bundled Rev. Slider is free of use, fully functional, and we will provide updates.
I also activate your Visual Composer plugin, it’s currently disabled. And that’s the reason your page is messed 🙂
