RandeWooParticipantHi.
There is an issue with google maps in Icon Stack: “This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”
Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.ab @ js:32 util.js:211 Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys

cloudtribalParticipantYeah Google changed their Maps requirements today or yesterday.
You now need to get an API key from the Google Developer Console.
However for the time being, even if you get one, you can’t input an API key in Cornerstone. Waiting for theme.co to provide a fix.

GP7ParticipantHi, I have the same problem, just copied my domain from one site to another, changed licenses, able to download latest verion of x-theme and everything is fine but google maps, Where it is embedded (on homepage and contact page) I get an error message: Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
Please advise how I can get my maps back. Thank-you.June 24, 2016 at 10:18 pm #1058909
RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Looks like google is not strict in implementing API Key. Please check this thread, https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/this-page-didnt-load-google-maps-correctly-see-the-javascript-console/
Thanks!

RandeWooParticipantHi Everibody!
There is a bypass around it to do not using Google API. Try to generate map by link http://embedgooglemaps.com/en/
Create text element with cornerstone.
Then place a shortcode like this inside the text element:
[map]<iframe frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place____________“></iframe>[/map]
Works just fine!June 25, 2016 at 5:42 am #1059139
ChristopherModeratorGlad to hear that you were able to fix this.
