Today is the first time when I tried to publish a new blog post after recent X Theme and Cornerstone update and faced strange issue. When I tried to set up a featured image for a new blog post I saw blank grey box at the very first place of the Media Library which can not be edited or changes (look at the picture). When I selected any other picture in the library it was not applied and there was a dark box showing up instead of the featured image in blog posts feed. When I opened up Media Library through regular WP menu I didn’t see that grey image at all (it appeared only when changing featured image of a blog posts). Please help to find a fix for that.

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
