iTurtleParticipanthi there,
i was wondering if any of the stacks might allow for the attached layout while maintaining a good working mobile view of the site. this site also shows what i am trying to achieve: http://klarheitundsinn.de.
it should be a boxed layout with a fixed width.
thanks a lot! kaiSeptember 24, 2016 at 7:17 pm #1189376
RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Yes, that’s possible.
1. Go to Admin > Appearance > Customizer > Layout & Design then set Site Layout to box.
2. Set yout box layout size according to your mockup.
3. Then set Content Layout to Sidebar Left, Content Right.Cheers!

ChristianModeratorHey Kai,
That does not apply to Icon as its sidebar is fixed. I would try or recommend Ethos for that.
Thanks.

ChristianModeratorWhat you’ve setup is the Nav Sidebar and not the Sidebar for Content with Sidebar. For details on the Customizer options, please see the Customizer section in our Knowledge Base
Thanks.

ChristianModeratorI see. For boxed layout, please go to Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design (see attachment)
Thanks.

ChristianModeratorAchieving your sample site will require CSS customizations though as X does not have an setup to look exactly like that.

iTurtleParticipantthanks christian, that is the answer i sort of expected at the very beginning. and i guess it will be no trivial css, either!? that is why i mentioned in my very first post the mobile view…
thanks again! kaips: i must say that i feel that no one at support really made an effort to read my initial question properly. usually support is more spot on from themeco!

Thank you for understanding.
