wsmaniac01ParticipantHi guys
Onto building my 5th site with X…!
I am having issues with a new site I have just installed X onto. Everything seems to be fine, except when I try to Edit the home page with Cornerstone I get an Internal Server Error – I have attached an image of what this looks like.
I have researched the forum and online, and here is everything I have to try and solve the issue, but nothing has worked:
1. Renamed the .htaccess file and generated a new one by going to Settings –> Permalinks –> Save
2. Increasing PHP memory by adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); into the wp-config.php file
3. Re uploading wp-admin and wp-includes core files to the WordPress installation
4. Deactivating all plugins, except Cornerstone.I have just installed X and Cornerstone, and the only other plugin I have is Contact Form 7. All of these are up to date.
I will include the WP Admin and FTP login details, if you could please have a look what is going on here?
Many thanks!

wsmaniac01ParticipantHi there
No, I don’t have an htaccess password at all… I have accessed the WP login from many machines without issue. I’m not sure what is happening from your side? Could you please try again? I have just logged in from two completely different machines again to test it, no problem.
In the meantime, I will ask the hosting company about the PHP version they are on.
Thanks
Cole

ChristianModeratorHey Cole,
Another support member here and I could not login because of the .htaccess restriction also. Please check with your hosting provider.
Thanks.

wsmaniac01ParticipantHi Christian,
OK, thanks. I have no idea what is going on… I will check with the host, but I believe the message on that screen shot Darshana sent is telling you what you need to log in…?
“User name is u and password is the answer to 1+1.”
Please confirm.
Thanks

Rue NelModeratorHello Cole,
Could please provide the Authentication access?

Thank you in advance.

wsmaniac01ParticipantHi Rue
I really don’t know what is going on.. I have deleted and generated a new htaccess file, and added the rule <i>Satify Any<i> which should remove the need for authentication.
Could you please try again this time? If this still doesn’t work, I am waiting to hear back from the hosting company at the moment.
Thanks
Cole

wsmaniac01ParticipantHi again guys
I think I have sorted the issue – I reinstalled X then created a brand new blank page and made that the home page, Cornerstone loads without a problem. The host also update to PHP v5.6.
Sorry to have wasted your time… I checked all the hard stuff without probably the easiest one! Hopefully someone else will find use from this thread, anyway.
p.s. The host just replied to me and said they do have an extra authentication step on their end – apologies for that also. This is a new client and I have never worked with this host before…!

Paul RModeratorHi,
Do you mind loading the integrity demo again so we can see the issue first hand and investigate.
Thanks

wsmaniac01ParticipantHi guys
I have inadvertently gone with the Renew stack as the client changed a few things they were after – I have started work, so I won’t be able to go back to the Integrity stack.
I tested all Integrity demos, and the Server error was only happening on Demo 1. Every other one was fine, and so is Renew – in case you get someone else with the same issue in the future.
Thanks for your help.
