    Hellos,

I’ve installed Integrity 1 demo as the foundation but the placeholders on the demo pages only show but don’t hold any places (see the screenshots below). I’d like placeholders show the image size and hold the space for the designated image size, the usual :-). Can you help me out? (I am running the install locally).

    Cheers,
    Irisha

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

Your attachments didn’t upload. You can add any image instead of place holders.
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

I don’t get “Downloading images”-message during the install of the demo so the images don’t seem to download. How do I fix that?

I am not trying to replicate any existing site, I want the demo content with placeholders to show properly so the page layout is displayed in the right way. Does this make sense? I took a screenshot from the KB article on the subject, where the demo content on the left side displays the way I would expect mine to do (although it is obviously a different stack).

    Hi there,

Standard demos import home page content only. Instead of original images place holders are being imported while expanded demos import complete site.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Christopher,

No, this is not helpful a bit. 🙁 I know the difference between the two and tried to make it clear that I didn’t expect a WHOLE SITE to download but placeholders (even if the image is just a grayed “placeholder”), of the right dimensions. I would expect a placeholder image to hold the space, say 600×800) as it would also show on the placeholder itself, the way it does on the screenshot in my previous post, taken from the KB article.

As I understand now you are saying it’s OK even for placeholder images not to download? Is this (see the screenshot below) the way it should be showing? This has not been my experience so far but maybe I am wrong and the demo contents layout can look like that?

Once again, this is what I expect it to show like (see the screenshot in the enclosed image): a placeholder is showing the size of the image and also holds the place for it. The layout shows properly, not getting squashed by non-existent placeholders. My question I then why do you think those images don’t download and how I can fix it.

    Hi,

We are pulling placeholder images from placehold.it which is a thirdparty site.

That site is currently down at the moment.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hello again,

This would explain it, thanks! I tried to install the demo content again and this time placeholder images display as the should :-). Cheers!
