Hi There, we wanted to add a new video blog section to http://www.intelligentenvironments.com/ (hover over Info Centre). See http://www.intelligentenvironments.com/blog/. It will be the same as this but use video instead of images, as you have on http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/blog/ and http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/affiliate-marketing-101-self-hosted-video/

However, In the post editor section we found a section to add in videos below the editor section. This was disabled from “screen option” section. We did enable it and tried adding in embed code of vimeo and you tube as well. But it does not show any video in the front end also it does not seems to have any other option as well to add in video. No documentation has been provided regarding this video blog as well.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for writing in! You need to set the Post Format to “Video” – http://prntscr.com/dx8utq

Then you will find the “Video Post Settings” – http://prntscr.com/dx8uz5

So when you actually set the format, the related settings option will be appear and initially the option is hidden and you don’t need to check from “Screen Options”.

Thanks for that, however we did follow the steps now that they had mentioned, but yet we are not able to view the video. Here is the duplicate test page we had created http://intelligent.staging.wpengine.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4390&action=edit. We have embedded vimeo video in the space specified. Here is the embed code <iframe src=”https://player.vimeo.com/video/48694502&#8243; width=”640″ height=”360″ frameborder=”0″ webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>

Hi,

Video will only work if you use integrity default blog index.

eg. http://intelligent.staging.wpengine.com/blog-test/
http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/blog/

I set blog test as posts page under Settings > Reading.
