Hello,
I am running Integrity on http://myfcpl.org/garden-gallery/ (testing page), and I need to change the functionality so that the images open up, by category, are scrollable within lightbox, and contain the titles and captions.

I have followed so many different threads on this that I’ve got the code all confused in my child functions and portfolio pages.

Please help!

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thank you for your reply. I am a developer. Is there a way for you to explain to me how to do it, without jeopardizing the theme’s framework and using as many built in features as possible?

Hi Aubrey,

Unfortunately, we don’t have tutorials available related to that customization. We already tried that but it fails, it requires much deeper customization that alters masonry/isotope setup and coding.

What you could do is use Essential Gallery and apply same masonry layout, it has lightbox and filter features too. And you can design the skin according to your preference. It is bundled with X theme due to the limitations of the built-in masonry.
