I placed a menu in the header widget, and it’s rendered very strangely – but only on the homepage. And if I put second widget in with exactly the same menu, that gets rendered fine – apart from still being smaller than on the other page.
If you look at the links below and click open the widget bar, you’ll see what I mean.

Second weird behaviour: On the homepage, the left menu-widget also adds a mailto to the empty menu entries. The address seems to be picked from the bottom of the page.
When I inspect the first menu-widget, the inspector shows a whole lot of stuff is added that does not belong there.

Can you help me to fix this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jens

    Hi There,

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi, thanks for the answer.

I deactivated all plugins apart from Cornerstone and Slider Revolution – and still had the same result.

Since I have to have something usable tomorrow, I’ll put the inquiry on hold for now.

If I have to come back to it again, I’ll post again.

    Thanks again,
    Jens

Problem solved: Someone had used obsolete HTML code to change font sizes directly within the text fields of X-Theme blocks.
We’ve taken those out and replaced them with some custom CSS and now everything works fine.
