silvanschaadParticipantHi there
I’ve been looking a while in the knowledge base and in the forum, but didn’t find a matching answer. I’ll send you my credentials straight afterwards for your assistance.
I’ve created a shop which has attributes which are linked to be displayed in an archive page. Now I want this “shop archive” to have the same look as the shop and the same sidebar.
In other words: I need a custom shop archive page. I’m not enough familiar with doing that in the integrity stack. Can you light my path, please? I’m absolutely fine with having just the basic steps listed…
Thanks

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post.
Now I want this “shop archive” to have the same look as the shop and the same sidebar. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on that statement or what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

silvanschaadParticipantHi Lely
Of course, no problem.
If you take a look at any product in the shop, you see at the bottom tabs with additional information on the products. These listed attributes are all linked and if you click on one, you’ll come to an archive page that lists all products with that attribute. This layout doesn’t look like the shop layout. In the shop layout you have the pics and then the product name including price, in the attribute archive you have the product name and then the excerpt. But the attribute archive should have the same look as the shop. Is that understandable?
I’m not really familiar with custom or archive pages in general and I don’t see the mechanism how integrity handles the archives. So if you could give me a hint…
Forget about the sidebar issue, that’s solved.
Thanks

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the clarification. By default, product tag archive page should have the same layout/format with your other woocommerce archive pages. I can confirm this on my test site. This can a result of a third party plugins or woocommerce customization. You could try testing for a plugin conflict first. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. If this is not a plugin issue, please try to switch from child theme to main X theme. Then check again.
Do let us know how this goes.

silvanschaadParticipantHi Lely
Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late answer.
Your recommendation is understandable, but I think we miss the point. I don’t really have a problem in the sense of misfunctionality, I just have a layout issue. You tell me
“By default, product tag archive page should have the same layout/format with your other woocommerce archive pages.”
I can confirm this statement too, but I don’t want to have the same layout as the other archive pages, I want the product tag archive page to have the same look as the shop page!
As mentioned above, I’m not familiar with the handling of archive pages. Maybe there’s a simple trick to accomplish my goal. And if you could point me there, that would be fantastic.
Thanks again and best
