kimmikennedyParticipantI have installed the demo #8, in reference to the colorful background:
Where exactly do I control / make settings for this?
Using developer, I am seeing:
<script>jQuery.backstretch(['//theme.co/media/bg-blurred-5.jpg'], {fade: 750});</script>Shouldn’t this be coming from my own domain and not theme.co?

kimmikennedyParticipantTo add to this, when I select my own background image it does not show.

kimmikennedyParticipantWayyy too much time spent on this,
I’m in the process of removing this hardcoded and tied into js code written into the theme, “backstretch” div and class. Not really understanding why this is hardcoded and calling a graphic from theme.co. I do understand it is a demo, but when trying to make changes, things like this become a time consuming problem.
I would kindly still like an answer for why design elements are being called from a domain other than my own?

ChristianModeratorHey there,
You can change the background image in Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design.
If the issue persists, would you mind providing us screenshots and also access to your WordPress admin?
Thanks.

kimmikennedyParticipantWhen setting background where you say, it removes the background color of the boxed content area.
While all other pages still do have background color in the boxed content area. Also, I need to set this background image to “contain”, where can this be declared?

kimmikennedyParticipantSo after, doing what you said.. this doesn’t work for me because I do not want the same background image on every page of the site.
I go to customizer and remove background, save. And now the background image will not remove! On the left panel it shows nothing in the field, but yet the image is still on the site AND in the admin preview of the page.January 26, 2017 at 9:30 am #1346428

NicoModeratorHi There,
In this case, regretfully, I could not be able to identify the problem however if you could be able to upload it in a dev site online.
Usually, by manipulating the suggested fix above.
Please let us know if you have already uploaded it.
We would love to help you the best we could if we could be able to check your setup closer.
Thanks.
