Hi there, I am working with the integrity 1 demo content on my site, the homepage was fine and I figured out how to add the slider but now the about page I am getting looks nothing like the about page on the demo, for whatever reason, I am getting the about page content from the ‘agency’ demo, how do I fix this? Please help urgently because I have reinstalled the demo content multiple times now but keep getting the same results, I need to go live in 2 days!

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

Kindly visit the following link where you will be guided well to setup a site like the same as Demo site :

    https://community.theme.co//demo-content/

Let us know how it goes!

hi, thanks for the response but the link you attached doesn’t work:( In any case, if you were trying to take me to this page: https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/ I had already read through and followed these instructions exactly like they are that is why I don’t understand why the pages I now have don’t match with the demo pages.

Just a follow up, one thing I have realized is that every time I download the integrity 1 demo contents using the instructions, it works for the initial setup but if I refresh the wp page or check out a plugin and come back to the X add ons page on wp, the demo content selection reads: agency instead of integrity 1, for whatever reason, it seems to be resetting itself to the agency content each time, how can I reverse this? The instructions page says nothing about hitting save somewhere after loading content so I assume after downloading the content, no further actions are needed to have the demo pages up and running…

    Hi There,

Please let´s have a closer look on your setup.

Would you like to install integrity 1?

Note that if you had agency installed before the internal pages of agency will be still be there if you install integrity 1.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks

    Hello There,

    Thanks for the updates!

It is important to keep in mind that just the way the homepages look is not all that is different between these two demo setups. While Standard demo content simply provides you with a homepage setup with placeholder content and images, Expanded demos will provide you with the exact images utilized in the demo as well as all of the additional content (blog posts and portfolio items with images if available, additional pages, any Revolution Sliders that may be present, et cetera). Expanded demos literally give you an entire site setup with the click of a mouse with all images and content in tact. Nothing quite like this has ever been done in the WordPress space!

It should be noted that demo content may not look exactly like our demo websites for numerous reasons. One of the biggest reasons for this is the fact that much of our content is either created by us directly or licensed specifically to us, so it is not available for redistribution (i.e. images, videos, et cetera). That being said, there are many great websites available such as PhotoDune or GraphicRiver where you can readily purchase premium content for use in your own sites. The demo content is meant to be used as a way to quickly setup the framework or structure of your site, making it quick and easy for you to swap out imges and text with your own material.

Full demo content is provided for each of our demos, however content is not included for our sales page as this is not considered one of our demos and is used specifically for our business purposes. If you are interested in recreating the look of this page we recommend starting out with the demo content for Integrity 1 as it will get you a majority of the way there.

Hi, I am well aware that the difference in the two demos is not only the homepage look and I know I won’t get all the content as is, not sure if you have used my credentials to log on and see my site but the problem I have is each time I download integrity 1 demo content, all I get is the integrity 1 homepage but the rest of the pages like About, Case studies etc are all from the agency demo. I also explained above that even though I setup the integrity 1 demo, when I refresh my wp page on the ‘X addons tab’, the demo selected appears as agency so I don’t know why this problem occurs, it’s like it won’t allow me to use the integrity 1 demo content even after a successful download.

    Hi there,

I checked and it’s Integrity 1 Demo. You probably imported a demo before (agency), the imported demo will remain on your site unless something will overwrite it (eg. importing the same demo will overwrite it). The best workaround for this is clean install since you’re trying to import empty demo.

    Thanks!

Hi, alright, would like to do the clean install, should I just delete all the pages I have now or is there a way to ‘uninstall’ the current demo completely?

    Hi there,

Please delete pages that you don’t want. To import a new demo content, first clear cache by adding &clean-cache at the end of URL.

    e.g :

    http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=x-addons-home&x-clean-demo-content-cache

Then try to import demo content.

    Hope it helps.

Hi, I just deleted all the posts and pages and cleared the cache like you advised but now when i import the integrity 1 demo content, all that is downloaded is the demo homepage. I have no other pages available 🙁 What to do? Shouldn’t the demo content include all pages available in the demo?? I am very confused now

    Hi there,

Please note that standard demo content such as integrity imports home page content only. If you want to importall content, graphics, widgets, sliders, settings, and more, please use expanded domes.

    Thanks.

oh wow, I wish someone had told me this at the beginning of this thread, now it makes sense why I wasn’t getting the rest of the pages with the standard demo. Why is this not stated anywhere though?

    Thanks for the clarification.
