I have tried for some time to install a theme from the x.package. Also posted some time ago, but gave up. Problems is that your are selling the x-package with quite a lot of redy made themes. Thats fine, but the problem is that the are not ready for use.
I am very visual, but due to short sight problem, i have problems following videos and execute in another window at the same time. If I go full screen it is only a smudge. I need printed material – a users manual – but have found no.

I have spent hours and hours testing the different demos, and when I found one I liked and downloaded demo content, I ended with a theme only with placeholders – no use for me.I ended with the extended theme Church, despite I am not a religous man 🙂

I see from other postings I am not the only one adressing this issue. I have downloaded and installed a variety of templates and installed with no problem. So luckily I draw the conslusion I am not the thick one 🙂

Could you plase provide a step-by-step installation manual? I love the x-theme concept, but I have to get this issue sorted out now if I still can support you.

Please check this article for a detailed guide on how to get started with the theme. It also contains some related link on how to setup and use other features of the theme.

1. I have installed the X-theme – otherwise I would not have got access to the Church theme I guess
2. As I need some content to work with,not only placeholders, I will use the Church theme for the time being
3. I have installed the demo content for the Church theme
4. It is the procedure from this point and to having a functunal Home page I am looking for.
5. Tried making some changes in Cornerstone. Not very successful.

I appreciate your response, but the problem is that what you describe is in my mind installations steps, that is what I did start with and have completed, not what I need right now.

I like to test some themes, but at the moment X has taken control to the degree that I am not able to install another theme, Even if activated and opening browser – it is now just a blank page.

I can not spend more time on this, so I hope you can help me out.
