    Hello,

    I just installed your x theme over my existing website built on Organic Web Shop from themeforest and the site isn’t working properly.

    Can you please take a look and advise? I have included a screenshot of the homepage as it is now. This is installed on a dev server. You can see the original at http://kegelmaster.com

    Not support but I think X-theme overrides most of your previous work. You will need to redesign everything I think.

    That doesn’t make a lot of sense. What is the point of having themes if you can’t import data and change them?

    Can someone from support please answer this for me?

    @kegelmaster    , I could see that you shared a URL where X is not installed. Would you mind sharing us your dev site URL and admin credentials where X is installed so we could further check it.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back. It seems you built the pages with Visual Composer. Kindly try removing the version of Visual Composer and install it from X Addons menu.

    Also if you have used any shortcodes that was integrated with theme theme then it won’t work with any theme for your information.

    Thank you. I will do that. Was there a better way of doing this? Should I start with a clean WP install and then install your theme? Then is there a way for me to export the other site data from my old domain and import it into your theme? Would that work better?

    OK. I deleted and then installed VC from your X addons and the site still looks the same.

    Suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! As you are using X, so I assume you are focused on more optimized and faster site. So it would be better if you do a fresh installation and then recreate your pages with Cornerstone or the bundled VIsual Composer. For better performance, you should go with Cornerstone as it’s managed by themeco itself.
