[email protected]ParticipantHi,
I’ve just purchased X and am trying to install a demo theme onto my site, however it times out instantly.
I’m hosting this on my own AWS EC2 instance and think that maybe the security settings I’ve put on my instance are blocking your site from doing the install? What method of install does the demo installation do?
Thanks,

Prasant RaiModeratorHello Marc,
Thanks for writing in!
Can you confirm that you’ve validated your site with purchase code? If you have validated the website then would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. Kindly follow the troubleshooting part from here – https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/
If the issue still persist, you can follow the format from bottom of this page to ask your host to check some settings – https://community.theme.co/kb/connection-issues/
Cheers!

[email protected]ParticipantNeither troubleshooting tip works unfortunately. I just get the “Hang in there, trying to reconnect…” error and then it fails.

[email protected]ParticipantI also tried opening all ports to my EC2 instance, but still get the same error. Can you explain what the “setup demo content” process is trying to do?

[email protected]ParticipantOk, it turns out it’s just the “Agency” demo that won’t load. Is there something wrong with that one as that was the one I most wanted to mimic! 😉

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I tried to install the demo for you but it seems like some kind of connection problem is interrupting.
In order to speed up the process I am uploading in a Zip file for you the Customizer Settings which is a .json file and the two extra pages that come with Agency Theme.
To setup the Customizer Settings, go to Wp-Admin Addons and Import it to your theme.
To Import that Home, About and Contact Pages, open a new page in Cornerstone and Click on Templates upload template and after insert it.
The files are inside the zip file attached.
I also have attached a second zip file that is your Slider Revolution Agency Slider.
How To Import Revolution Sliders
Step 1 – Go the the Revolution Slider tab in your WP Admin, and click the Import Slider button.
Step 2 – Choose the .ZIP file of the slider you’d like to import.
Step 3 – Once you’ve chosen the .ZIP file, an Import Slider button will appear.
Step 4 – Click the Import Slider button, and wait for it to finish uploading.
Step 5 – Once it’s finished uploading, you will now see your imported slider in the list of Revolution Sliders available.
Hope it helps,
Let us know if you need anything else.
Joao
