StuartParticipantHi, there is a bug in the ‘Insert Media’ functionality, as follows:
1. It occurs when I replace an image on my site. Firstly, I remove the image in cornerstone, and then delete it permanently in the ‘Insert Media’ dialogue box.
2. The new image has the same file name as the deleted image, but has been resized.
3. I upload the new image and insert it on the page.
4. Here is where the error occurs: instead of placing the new image on the page, the old image is used, even though I permanently deleted it at Step 1.
This only occurs when using a new file with an identical file name to the one I am replacing.
I would be grateful for your assistance with this, as when I am building a new site I regularly replace images with different sized versions.
Many thanks.

RupokMemberHi there,
When you delete the image permanently there is no way of using he old image again. But if you use the same naming then it might come from cache. So make sure to clear your browser’s cache and cookie if you really need to replace any image with same name.
Thanks!
