    Hi Themeco,

I’m creating a new shop page on the ethos theme as the ethos shop front doesn’t fit with my sites style.

I need to change the style of the buttons on this page (http://honestyforyourskin.co.uk/index.php/honesty-skincare-shop/)

    what would be the inline attributes I need to change;

    – border width
    – border colour
    – text colour

    Thankyou!

    Hi There,

I don´t see any buttons on your page. But you can have a look on these links below:

    Please refer to :

    http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/buttons/

You Can find more information about CSS Styling here:

    http://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_buttons.asp

    Hope that helps,

    Joao

    Hi Joao,

Sorry, I’m not able to get those codes to work inline with the short code… I’ve screen dumped the page, so you can see the button & current short code…

do I use the ‘id’ tag for these kinds of styles changes?

    Hi There,

Unfortunately the file you uploaded exceeded the allowed file size.

If you will make the changes inline you don´t need to use ID or Class you can follow the instructions on our button shortcode page or you can use style=”your css go here” and follow the css link I gave you above.

Note that ID can be used just ONE time for just ONE element, and Class can be used many times, so I believe in case you are going to style your buttons via Customizer or style.css Class would suit you better than ID regarding styling because you would be able to style many buttons with the same class.

Would you mind pointing the page or create a draft page so we can check how you are building the buttons?

And in order that we can better assist you would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks

    Joao
