    Hello Team X

    1. Customizer > Footer > Footer Widget Areas > Two.
    2. Customizer > Widgets > Footer 1 > [random widget here]
    3. Customizer > Widgets > Footer 2 > [random widget here]

    The widgets are stacked vertically. I would like to display them inline / horizontally / as columns.

    Can this be achieved within X or does this require CSS?

    If it does require CSS, could you please provide it?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    You need to define number of footer widget area. To do that please navigate to Appearance > Customize > Footer > Footer Widget Areas and select number of footer widget area you would like to have.

    Yes as I described in my initial post, I already did that and they appear stacked vertically.

    Ok I tried it out and it seems to be working. I am 100% sure it wasn’t working before.
    May I please know what you guys did?
    I would like to be able to do it myself for future websites.
