    Hi,

    on the archive-page of the blog posts, x uses the first few words of a post to create a excerpt. How can we individualize this and use a custom meta-field for a excerpt that differs from the page’s text?

    Please use the post’s manual excerpt. See http://buildwpyourself.com/wordpress-manual-excerpts-more-tag/ for details. If you don’t see the Excerpt field, go to Screen Options.
