    I’m sorry, this has probably been discussed before, but i just can’t find it in my search results.

    I have a client that wants to switch to the X-Theme (after my recommendation). He currently has an existing WP site (ThimPress Youniverse theme), but how can we import the existing webpages with content into Cornerstone?
    The only way I know how to do is, is basically re-creating the site. So far, I have only built sites from scratch, so this is new to me.

    Please let me know how we can best accomplish this.

    Hello Peter,

    Thanks for writing in!

    When you want to build your pages again using Cornerstone, you have to build it from scratch. Since normal editor and Cornerstone handles the content differently, there is no one click button that will transfer your content into Cornerstone instantly. Please also note that a page created using Cornerstone cannot be edited outside it. Doing so will result to losing meta data and the ability to edit it back again in Cornerstone.

    That’s what I thought, I just wanted to make sure i’m not missing something that would save me time 😉
