    Hello – what’s the best way to import my portfolio data from a different portfolio plugin into the built in portfolio within X theme?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! You can’t integrate other plugin’s portfolio to X portfolio because they have different custom post type slug. It’s simply because each unique plugin should have it’s own custom slug so that it won’t interfere with others. You can recreate the portfolios if you want to use X Portfolio otherwise you can just continue using the other plugin and import the portfolio items using Import Tools from Dashboard.

    Thanks for the info! Is there a way to feed 3rd party plugin portfolio items into the X theme’s ‘Recent Posts’ feature?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back. As I stated earlier those are different custom post types and can not be mixed up since they should work independently. You can recreate those if you want.
