    Hi awesome support team! 🙂

    Thank you guys for giving such great support!

    I have imported all my posts from my old website. The domain is exactly the same and that’s why I would like to keep also the same URL for all my posts, as I have imported them.

    Is it possible to get rid of the date in the created posts URL? If we could do this, all URL’s would stay the same.

    Thanks a lot!

    Best, Christian

    Hello Christian,

    Thanks for writing in and thanks for the good words. It means a lot to us.

    You can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer to remove date from blog posts:

    .entry-date {
    display: none;
    }

    Thanks.

    Hello Prasant,

    Thanks for your reply! I think there was a little misunderstanding, either from my side or yours 🙂
    I want to remove the date from the posts URL, for example: https://www.diamond-precision-studio.com/de/2016/08/26/fetter-drumsound-8-mikros/

    /2016/08/26/ was automatically set after I imported the posts from my old wordpress site. I want to disable the automatic date setting for post URL, as also I am not able to remove them manually.

    I there a solution?
    Adding the custom css didn’t help me out.

    Thanks a lot!

    Best, Christian

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the misunderstanding. Please head over to Settings -> Permalinks section within your WordPress back-end and select the option “Post name” and save the changes.

    Hope that helps.
