Hi there, I’m hoping you can fix this up for me quickly. My customer has a live website using “The Grid” and it has worked fine in the past. They have been able to add images with ease to existing grids.

However, today neither of us is able to add images and have them show up in “The Grid.” The image is in the media library, but when selected and saved it still does not add to the grid.

There is no error message. It’s just that nothing happens.

They are using WP 4.5.3, X Parent Theme 4.6.0, The Grid Version 1.4.0.

Trying to add images to “Floral” grid…

I will send credentials privately to help speed along request in case it’s needed.

I apologize. I just realized the error – there are so many images in the grid that they are just not showing up in the preview or on the page initially due to pagination. It’s all good. Please disregard this ticket.

I’m sorry, I spoke too soon. This original issue is still happening. It ONLY happens with the floral grid. Please see my original problem and login from previous tickets.

It has this error,

tomb.js?ver=4.5.3:13 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'thumbnail' of undefined

Which maybe means the item isn’t detected or loaded. Would you mind reinstalling your The Grid? And please provide your FTP login credentials as well.

Also, I have CloudFlare CDN setup for this site. Would that be causing any issues?

Okay, The Grid was deleted, reinstalled and cache flushed. I tried adding the images to Floral again – no luck.

What’s next? Thanks for your help!

Hello Dawn,

Please keep in mind that when you select “Media Gallery” as your source, you have to manually select the images. You need to edit your grid and add/remove the images. After doing that, please clear your site cache first before testing your site.

Yes, these are the steps we are doing and the images are not being added. Please try from your end with the credentials I shared. The client is not able to add more images to their grid and they are getting frustrated. I really appreciate your prompt attention.

I’m sorry, but I’m really missing something. Please see file attached and video of my steps here:

When I upload, manually select image and clear cache, the image is still not appearing. Instead of on a new test page, would you please try uploading an image into the existing Floral gallery in The Grid?

I took these steps:
1. Test image attached (Custom framing silver.jpg) was added to media library.
2. Opened “The Grid”, clicked “Edit” on Floral grid
3. Went to Source tab.
4. Clicked “Add Images” button
5. Selected “Custom Framing Silver.jpb image – made sure checkmark appeared in thumbnail. Clicked “Insert Gallery.”
6. Noticed thumbnail does NOT appear in Media Library images on The Grid – BUT clicked Save anyhow.
7. Cleared cache, looked at both backend and live site – New image does not appear in Floral Grid…

Please help!
