    Hello,

I have been setting up my new X theme in a staging site, and all the pictures showed fine up until recently… now they do not show up and are returning a 404.

What could have happened? How can I fix this? I’m hoping I don’t have to refresh the whole Staging site and start from scratch, but I also can’t upload all the images because they are missing from years and years of blog posts (as well as those on standard pages).

Some of the images I uploaded directly to the staging site, but most were included in the initial set up / clone of our website when creating the staging site. None of the images are showing up anymore.

    Hello There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials as the URL where the Image is getting disappeared so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks.

    Hi There,

Your images really look like they are not on they suppose to be.

Have you done any URL changes or something you can recall that might have caused the issue?

Would you mind to share with us your FTP credentials?

    Thanks

    Joao

    Hi there,

I just checked and images are not really existing within the folders. It probably fails transferring some files when you created a staging site. You should contact WPEngine for this issue as they are the one that has control on file transfers.

    Thanks!
