LDudIdeaParticipantThe image used in my background is 4×4 on my laptop and is a waste up photo; however, it appears as just a headshot in my background. I’m using the church extended theme.
How can I make the image smaller in my background so that it appears as a waste up pix as I see it on my laptop?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

FriechModeratorHi There,
That will not work, as we can see your image is a portrait oriented while the container (Section) is landscape.
Please read this posts on how background image works.

Paul RModeratorHi,
You can try adding this in the style field of your section.
background-size:contain;http://screencast.com/t/INv8OxF6yoR
Then add this in the style field of your row element.
min-height:500px;You may change 500px to adjust the height.
Hope that helps.

RupokMemberHi there,
It seems you are using parallax as well for that section. It won’t be perfect unless you choose a right dimension for your image. You should not use a portrait image for a wider section that also have parallax enabled. Increasing height won’t make any big difference either. I’d suggest to use a right image or keep this as is.
Thanks!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Background image dimensions should be around 1400px * 700px.
Thanks.
