    hi,

    how can i create an image gallery commonly used on detail pages. where there are a row of thumbs and one larger image. Is it possible with X default? Or is there a plugin to use?

    You may try The Grid or Essential Grid plugin, they offer gallery type layout and lightbox. Please check our knowledge base for more information about the said plugins.
