    I purchased and activated the theme & plugin package bundle for X Theme with this url: wishbythesea.com and it’s not updating the visual composer plugin. Getting the error shown on screen shots attached here.

    Hello There,

    Thank you for providing the details. You cannot update to the Visual Composer version because we are the one who provides any of the updates since it is bundled in X. The latest version supported is only 4.12. You can check out the version compatibility here: https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/

    Changed since the last couple X Themes I purchased? It wasn’t clear to me before purchasing the newest copy and would really like to have it update as the others do just by checking the plugin and selecting update – then it updates.

    Maybe you can simply tell me how to have a “valid URL” to get the updates? or why it doesn’t recognize a valid URL?

    Hi There,

    Not bundled version update could cause problems in updating. You can easily update the version of your X bundled visual composer by removing then installing it again through X ads on.

    As I checked your setup, you are using the latest version compatible with X theme already.

    So this whole conversation is now going back to my original post question of why my visual composer is not updating as I showed the screen shots of the add on being activated but still not updating. If you want to just refer back to the beginning of this whole thread. Thanks, I would like to have this fixed so I don’t get error messages for visual composer when updating all the plugins.

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing back!

    Make sure you reinstall the plugin first. You can easily update the version of your X bundled visual composer by removing then installing it again through X ads on. Did you re-install the Plugin through X Add-ons already?
