SylviaPietzkoParticipantHey there,
I’m using the Icon Stack and I’m a little bit confused about the appearance of my navigation bar.
You can see it in the attached image.EVERY link should look like the last five: black font with the button shape around it.
I found out, that the first two do not look alike (only at hovering), because they’re a different type: they lead to subsites like /xyz/
The others lead to special anchors like #media
If I change the first two into #anchors, they look the same, but that’s not working for me.I think: link should be link in the menu. How can I stop X making them behave so differently?
I’m glad if you can help!
Thank you in advance,
Sylvia

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! To assist you with this issue, we’ll first need you to provide us with your URL. This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your URL, we will be happy to assist you with everything.
My Guess is that you use http://www.fulladress.com/#id on the id links and that is why they are all highlighted.
But please provide your URL so we can provide you a custom solution.
Thanks
Joao

SylviaPietzkoParticipantHi Joao,
sorry for my late reply, a lot to do at the moment …
My website is http://www.sylvia-pietzko.de and yes, I’m using those #id anchors for them all except of the first two links.
My favourite solution would be, if ALL of the links are black with the rounded border and changing color to turquoise at hover / active.Best,

ChristianModeratorHey Sylvia,
This is because you’re using full URLs in One Page Navigation setup. One Page Navigation is only for single page setup and was not designed to be used for global navigation. Please set a different site-wide menu as Primary menu and use fragment identifier or # part only for your One Page Navigation.
Thanks.

SylviaPietzkoParticipantWhat are fragment identifier? 🙂

SylviaPietzkoParticipantDoesn’t matter – with a brand new menu, it works!
Thank you!

ChristianModeratorYou’re welcome. A fragment identifier is the text after the # in a URL.
Thanks.
