Randy AParticipantHello. I have the ICON Stack Child Theme installed. Under Customizer, I selected to have Full Width but would like my BLOG page to have content right, sidebar left attribute. I keep getting this error when attempting to do that “Because of Icon’s unique layout, this template is unavailable in this stack…” Is there a way around this? Thank you – Randy

ChristianModeratorHey Randy,

Randy AParticipantHey Christian,
All pages are set to Default already. The only page where I want to have content left and side bar right is on my blog page. So on the Blog page I attempted to change the page template to another layout but got that error message.August 22, 2016 at 4:33 pm #1142162
Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
To display sidebar on blog page you must choose Content Layout to be either Content Left, Sidebar Right or Sidebar Left, Content Right. For your other pages select Fullwidth page template.
Hope this helps!

Randy AParticipantHey Nabeel,
I’ve done just that. Ok, to recap, below is a list of what my current settings are:
CUSTOMIZE Details:
– Child Theme
– Icon Stack
– Layout & Design set to Full Width
– I only want the sidebar on ONE of my pages (Blog)
– On my Blog Page, I have the Content Layout set to Content Left, Sidebar Right but it’s not working (image attached). I keep getting an error message that says “Because of Icon’s unique layout, this template is unavailable in this stack. Please switch to another stack if you need to make use of this feature. Thanks”Please note that I want my entire site to have the FULL WIDTH setting with the exception of the page titled BLOG.
Please adivse. Thanks – Randy

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
As we explained on previous replay you must select Content Layout to be either Content Left, Sidebar Right or Sidebar Left, Content Right. For your other pages select Fullwidth page template.
Please note that page templates don’t work on blog page.
Hope it helps.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please see the attachment. You should select one of content layouts with sidebar.
For those pages that you want to display sidebar, select default page’s template.
‘Sidebar left-content right’ and ‘sidebar tight-content left’ templates don’t work on this specific stack but other templates are supported.Thanks.
