skyaggie81ParticipantURL : http://socialsecuritylawyerhouston.com
WordPress (hosted by GoDaddy) 4.7
X theme: Version: 4.6.4
Cornerstone: 1.3.3I have tried using the X theme google map as well as 3 plug ins and can’t get any of them to appear correctly using the short codes. I got the Google API so i don’t think this is the issue. I’ve read through and tried the solutions in the discussions thread but none of these worked. Help please, thank you!

skyaggie81Participantwell i haven’t because the only thing that shows up when i use the short code is the short code itself — not the map

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing the page where you added the video?
I added the google map on your contact us page and it works. You have to add the coordinates.
Thanks!

skyaggie81ParticipantI am very curious why the short code didn’t work for the google map plug in. I’m glad you put your map up there but it doesn’t have the features that some of the others have such as directions.

RadModeratorHi there,
I just added the google map element by drag and drop, then add API key to its input/option. No special procedures. What map you’re adding? Would you mind providing a screen recording on how you’re adding it?
About the video, I still don’t see it from your duplicated home page. What I wish to see is how it’s added. Is it embed or video player? If it’s embed, then embed youtube code. If it’s video player, then don’t use youtube. Not all browsers have support for youtube/video format. Maybe you’re you’re just pasting youtube URL within the video player’s source input. What’s your video URL?
Another scenario is the video URL is added in wrong input field which based on previous threads, it’s a common mistake. I’m not saying it’s the case this time, but I need a way to see how it’s added.
Thanks!

skyaggie81ParticipantI uploaded the video and then tried to add it using the Video player in cornerstone. I wanted you to try to add it at the top but if you can put it anywhere on that page I can move it.
When I was working with it, I put the url for the video that is in my library but it wouldn’t load/play. This customer does not have a you tube page but i tested one and the you tube video worked fine. But you would think that it would be able to play something that is actually stored on the site?
I’ll take a screen shot of where I want it to go so you can test it. So weird – I’ve never had a customer that needed a video that wasn’t on you tube so this is the first I’ve run across this issue. I have 7 licenses from you so I’m pretty savvy, just not a coder at all! Thanks!
