    I cannot find my API key

    I have gone into and created an account seobalwebdesign. I have my purchase code but it is not giving me an api key anywhere.

    I AM NOT GETTING MY API KEY WHERE IT

    IT HAVE REGISTERED AND ASSIGNED A URL. WHERE IS MY API KEY

    I COULD HAVE BUILD A WEBSITE IN THE TIME IT HAS TAKEN TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS

    Hey Rob,

    Have you read this https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/? You do not need an API key anymore unless you’re using an old version of X that is not validated which in that case, you will need to update X manually and validate using the new system. See https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/ to learn how to manually update X. After that, follow the steps outlined at https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/.

    Hi Rod,

    The URL above provide seems to be not working.

    If you cant register your website via WP-Admin because you have an older version of X you will need to make a manual update via your FTP or Cpanel.

    Please follow this steps:

    1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

    2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

    3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

    4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.

    To Validate your license please follow this steps:

    1] Please login to your account and revoke the license at:

    https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/

    2] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address.

    The main site and the development site should be different urls. If you do no have any development site, there is no need to assign it.

    3] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    We do recommend you doing a backup of your website before starting this process.
