    HELP!!!!
    NOW I can not access my site!!
    My website: http://www.creative-sunshine-inc.com
    Problem: Only a white screen appears when I add the/wp-admin. No sign in – no error- nothing.
    I went to my files and looked at the .htaccess- what should it say?

    “# BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress”

    or

    # Use PHP5.6 as default
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php

    # BEGIN WordPress

    # END WordPress

    I am panicked!
    (I did update essential grid right before this happened.)

    Thank you for your help!

    So it seems the update of the essential grid caused the issue?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! Kindly remove Essential Grid from /wp-content/plugins/ folder with your FTP. It will allow you to login to your site. Then install again from X Addons menu.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

    I have checked on your site and the Essential Grids in the pages seem to be working fine. Were you able to get it sorted? If not, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thank you for your offer to help:)
    I actually went and searched everywhere to find a solution- because I needed an immediate answer.
    The way I solved it was to contact my host and have them update my PHP. The upgrade of Essential Grid caused the blow-up because it only works on PHP v5.6 or above.

    I assume others will run into this frigtening occurance. Before updating the grid plugin- make sure you are running on PHP v5.6 or above.

    Hi there,

    Glad that you figured it out already. Most of the plugin works smoothly on PHP 5.6+ and it’s recommended.

    Cheers!
