benaccinelliParticipantHey, I have made a responsive animation using Hype 3. I’m trying to insert the DIV tags into a page and a post and it’s not working.
The js file loads, and I’ve tested the file on my local machine, but for some reason it’s not working. Is it something to do with the Theme?
URL: Benaccinelli.com
Link to the js file: http://benaccinelli.com/benaccinelli.com/benaccinelli/Key%20Projects%20and%20clientsP/Key%20Projects%20and%20clientsP.hyperesources/keyprojectsandclientsp_hype_generated_script.js
code I’m trying to use: <div id=”keyprojectsandclientsp_hype_container” style=”margin:auto;position:relative;width:100%;height:100%;overflow:hidden;” aria-live=”polite”>
<script type=”text/javascript” charset=”utf-8″ src=”http://benaccinelli.com/benaccinelli.com/benaccinelli/Key%20Projects%20and%20clientsP/Key%20Projects%20and%20clientsP.hyperesources/keyprojectsandclientsp_hype_generated_script.js?15831″></script>
</div>Wordpress version: 4.7
XTheme version: 4.6.4
Cornerstone version: 1.3.3I’m using Hype because revolution slider is super slow and will often not load all of the layers. Not sure if that’s the theme, cornerstone, or WP.
I uploaded the Hype 3 files in case you’d like to see what I’m uploading.
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! This could be a caching issue. Since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Total Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
As this is all custom development, regretfully we won’t be able to assist further. Custom development is outside the scope of our support. We’re happy to provide advice and get you started in the right direction, but you would still be responsible for the implementation.
Thank you for your understanding.

benaccinelliParticipantThanks for your prompt reply. So just to be clear, your theme allow for div tags to be inserted and work properly?
I’m inserting it in the “text” editor in either a page or post and not using the “cornerstone” editor.
Just so I know that I can eliminate the possibility of my file and your theme from being incompatible.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, it’s allowed. You can add them within text element or raw element.
Thanks!

benaccinelliParticipantHey, yeah I tried that and it wouldn’t work. I used iframes instead and that seems to work okay.
Thanks!
