wwilliamsParticipantHi There,
When loading my site site under http, it looks great (just how it should), however when loading through HTTPS it’s completely wrong – please see links below

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It’s because your SSL is not configured properly. Lot of resources still loading over http:// and that’s causing the mixed content error – http://prntscr.com/dfxc6v
You can use a plugin like this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-ssl/
Cheers!

wwilliamsParticipantHi there,
this plugin just crashed my site, and required after-hours dev assistance to delete the plugin from my FTP.
Can you recommend something else (a newer plugin perhaps, I which won’t cause this issue, or an alternative solution).
For instance I see the suggested plugin (Force SSL) hasn’t been updated in over 2 years and has around 3000+ installs, yet Really Simple SSL is updated regularly and has over 70,000+ installs. I don’t understand SSL enough to know if either is appropriate however, so your advice would be appreciated.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
You can follow this guide (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/).
Also you will have to re-attach images and background images after setting up your SSL.
Thanks!
