    I updated my wordpress to 4.5.3 and I see the updated for VC available but I need to do a manual update not an automatic update. I currently cannot edit any of my sites using VC.

    VC Version: Version 4.7.4

    Hi There,

    Please update X to the latest version and you will be able to update VC to version 4.11.2 on your WordPress Dashboard.

    I updated but I need to do a manual download. I cannot do live updates on our server.

    Fixed. We added the define(‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’); in our wp-config.php file temporarily to do the install then deleted the line.
