I have a section that appears above my header using the Vimeo Hero Revolution Slider template. It plays a video on loop when people first arrive at my site. But when the page is sized slightly narrower, black bars appear above and below the video. These bars are not part of the video itself. On the Integrity 1 demo page (http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/) these bars do not appear when the page is sized narrower so there must be some setting I’m missing in the Revolution slider to allow the video to scale however it needs to, cropping the video, so that it fills the frame, right?
I seem to post these questions and then solve them before anyone has a chance to answer. Oh well, I suppose I’m adding to the knowledge base. The answer was in having the wrong aspect ratio set in the slide settings. See screen shot below. I had the aspect ratio set to 4:3. Once I change it to 16:9 the problem went away.
