I am trying to make my website look like this – https://www.lostboymemoirs.com/
My current website looks like this – http://www.xso.in

Can you please guide me with the following:
1) How to change the size of sections?
2) If I add an image element in a column, how do I resize it ?
3) How do I eliminate the navigation bar on the top ?

They have used pictures as links. When you click on a picture, a new page opens up.
I want to do exactly similar thing on my website http://www.xso.in
I want to know where to create that page which would open up when someone clicks on the picture.

You can create a page in Wp Dashboard > Pages > Add New

Then add the url of that page in the href field of your image element.

I want to put text element on an image element which I insert in a column. How do I do it ? It’s not letting me put text on the image.

Hi,

You need to add your image as a background of your column so you can add a text over it.

Try adding this in the style field of your column element.

min-height:400px; background:url('image.jpg') top center no-repeat;

Change 400px to adjust the height of your column and change image.jpg with the url of your image.

Best would be crop your image on Photoshop or similar software and re-upload the image to your site.

And how I change the font in the text element?

What you would like to change on the font? The font type, size, color..?

You can either use the Style box of the text element or style it inline inside the <p> depends on what you want, please let us know more details about your goal and we will provide you a solution.

You can add to the style box of your text element:

color: red; font-size: 20px; font-family: "Times New Roman", Georgia, Serif;

Please change the values and font family to your wished styles.

Hi,

I want to use Uppercut Angle from the Typekit.
I changed it here: font-family: “Times New Roman”, Georgia, Serif;
Instead of times new roman, I wrote Uppercut Angle but it didn’t work.

Before you can use any TypeKit, you must ensure that you have installed Typekit plugin which you can easily install by going to X Addons > Extensions. To know more about this bundled plugin in X, please check it here;
