bhoskyParticipantHello, I am loving working with X, but am struggling to modify some of the sass variables. I am using integrity-light and have found the _variables-light.scss file in the parent theme and made the corresponding file path in the child theme. I also have included “!important” at the end of the statement to account for file priority. However I don’t know how to recompile the sass file to put the changes into the css file. Can you tell me how to do this or point me towards a resource?
Any help would be great!

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.

bhoskyParticipantHello, Changing the accent color is related to customization to the theme. The accent color is set by a sass variable. Thanks for nothing.

ChristianModeratorYes, but that involves directly modifying theme files and we do not support that. You can work with X Customizer options and override CSS in WordPress admin Appearance > Customize > Custom > Global CSS. For instance, you want to change the accent color. That option is available under Typography > Site Links (see attachment). To learn more how to use X, please see our Knowledge Base.
Thanks.
