Jonathan SParticipantHi I want to set the Blank – No Container | Header, Footer template as the default for all pages, how do I go about doing this? (I’m using a child theme already if that helps) Thanks!

ChristianModeratorHey Jonathan,
Thanks for writing in.
There is no option to set that as default. 🙁

Jonathan SParticipantIs there no code I can add? Basically what I’m trying to do is get rid of the white bar that says “our blog” on my blog posts… see screenshot…

RubinKeymasterHey,
there is no WordPress function to set a different page template as default as the “Default Template” so you will have to select it manually for each newly created page.

Jonathan SParticipantIts not a page, its a blog post, there is no option on the page to change it

RubinKeymasterHey Jonathan,
a single blog post has it’s own page template where you only can select with sidebar our without. You can’t select a blank layout / no container page template nor any other page template. Sorry!
