ChristopherModeratorHi there,
To create a sidebar select one of content layouts with sidebar under Customize -> Layout and design.
Next add custom sidebar under Appearance -> Sidebar and check the box to display it in blog page.
Navigate to Appearance -> widgets and add custom widgets to your sidebar.Hope it helps.

Please go to Appearance > Widgets and again insert the same text widgets in the main sidebar widget area. This is what is missing.

Paul RModeratorHi,
Thank you for providing your login credentials.
1. I tried adding a text widget to test and I can see it is working.
Backend – http://screencast.com/t/yTXt0SLM
Frontend – http://screencast.com/t/CcMUR4yPLX8i2. With regards to Blog page, I can see you have set a different sidebar

In that case, you need to add your widgets to your sidebar
