Hi!

I’m planning to launch my website (and e-com store) with a pre-launch phase. Sending an email to all my subscribers, with a password giving them early access to the site and products.

The plan is to have an ‘under-construction’ style page blanketed across the whole website with the option to either enter the password or signup for access.

I’ve researched and tested some plugins, but nothing seems to do what I need.
I don’t have a big budget to hire developers and getting closer to the launch date, I’m running out of options.

So as my last ditch effort, I am hoping the team behind theme X, who I have promoted to a lot of other designers and business owners, will be able to give me a helping hand and provide a solution for me to implement my launch plan, or at least point me in the right direction. You guys have been a huge help to me in the past, hoping you can score another home run today 🙂

Hi Mark,

When you are using under construction mode, it will bypass theme and plugin functionality so X and any plugin won’t be able to control anything. So you need to find a under construction plugin that has email subscription option or you need to take off under construction and use a under construction-alike page designed in Cornerstone or in default editor where you can use Mailchimp extension.
