    HI!

How would I install a demo to only try it out without erasing anything that I did with a blank template(not a demo)? My site is locally hosted on my computer with mamp, and I installed the child theme. Please let me know also exactly what would not be saved when choosing the demo.

Purpose is only to try out some demos to see if that is going to work out better for me in the long run.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi There,

First thing is to go to Addons and save your Customizer settings so in case you regret you can load than later.

I also reccomend you saving your home page as a Cornerstone template just to be extra safe, to do that go to Cornerstone > Templates > Save > To Library > Rename it > Save as page.

You can load the demos than, note demos will add pages and posts to your content.

Your menu links you will need to fix manually later.

    Hope it helps

    Hi There!

    Three questions:

    1. Wanted to confirm I saved the Customizer settings correctly – I went to Addons – Under Customizer Settings – Clicked Export – Opened the json file in Notepad ++ and saved it. Was this correct?

    2. When I go to Cornerstone in the side menu – only see Home and Settings – Am I in the wrong spot? So I do not see Cornerstone > Templates > Save > To Library > Rename It > Save Page – This is to save the Home Page that you mentioned above. I only have a couple pages to save like this just in case as I did not put anything on the home page.

    3. Do I need to save or do something with WooCommerce? and other plugins?

    Thank you very much!!!
