TadParticipantHello,
I apologize in advance if this is a very easy thing to fix, I am VERY new to WordPress. For the life of me I can’t get rid of the “white space” on my website. It looks like it is a heading that I inserted into my website somehow. I can get the menu words to go away if I click “disable page title”, but I can’t get the white space to go away. Here is my VERY rough site.

Please give us a screenshot of the white space.
Thanks.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for the screenshot. It seems you are referring the breadcrumbs are. You can disable this from Customize > Header > Breadcrumbs – http://prntscr.com/d0w4zs
Cheers!

TadParticipantThanks again for the quick reply, but that did not seem to work.
Any other ideas?October 30, 2016 at 1:36 pm #1236845
RupokMemberHi there,
I don’t see any other extra spacing on your page so not sure what else you are referring. Would you check again and clarify the spacing you are referring? Currently I can see this on your page – http://prntscr.com/d0x9kc
Let’s point us the issue.
Cheers!

TadParticipantThanks again for the reply.
I literally mean how to remove the entire white box on the home page. Where it says Home. So not only the word Home, but the entire white “box”. It looks like it is the top of a blank page without any writing on it. I ONLY want to display the background picture. Hopefully that makes more sense.October 30, 2016 at 1:47 pm #1236861
TadParticipantIt looks like the term of what I am trying to “get rid of” is the “container”. So I have two questions now?
1. How do I make the container completely gone, so you only see the background picture?
2. How do you make the container transparent, so you can see the text, but can’t see the white background of the container? Thanks again for the help!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the clarifications! Just for future topics, self responding or bumping your post pushes it back in our Queue system so it takes longer to respond to.
1] Please edit your page and change the page template. You should be using the Blank – No Container | x,x page templates. These templates removes the container and the best page template to use along with Cornerstone. To know more about these page templates, please check this out: https://community.theme.co/kb/page-templates/
2] Since the container is no longer present, you can control the transparency with the section, row and column containers.
Hope this helps.
