I just installed x themes but cornerstone did not install. I checked previous posts and all I can find is that it needs to be FTPed. Ok how? root/wp-content/plugins/ is not helpful because I have no experience with ftp. I know that my root is my website so I tried this and received the following “insecure server it does not support ftp over tls. I am currently using wpstagecoach as my staging site but it never installed correctly even before I moved it over to the staging site.

Hi there,
If you have your FTP details, you can simple login using FTP clients like Filezilla.
Once you are logged in, you will most probably see the root of the WordPress install. One of the folders should be wp-content. Open the folder and go to the plugins folder. Once you’re in the plugins folder.
As I have checked in your backend. Cornerstone seems to be present but it seems to have been installed incorrectly. So what you can do is once you are in the plugins folder in FTP, you can delete the current Cornerstone directory that is in there then head back to the WordPress admin panel and go to the Addons page and resinstall it from there.
